Registration

  1. The prerequisite for registration is an electronic identity in the form of a qualified certificate for e-signature (certificate) or cloud based qualified digital certificate, issued by one of the trusted issuers, that are listed here.
Any qualified certificate, issued by the QTSP provider can be used for registration and signing the documents on VEP.SI platform. The lists of the issuers can be found here (link to https://eidas.ec.europa.eu/efda/tl-browser/#/screen/search/type/2). If you are having issues using your certificate, contact us.
 

SIGN UP WITH DIGITAL CERTIFICATE

Qualified digital certificates in Slovenia are issued by five providers of qualified trust services:

Ministry of Public Administration – SIGEN-CA
Pošta Slovenije d.o.o. – Pošta®CA
Halcom d.d. – Halcom CA
Ministry of Public Administration – SIGOV-CA (for state authorities)

2. Before registering, make sure you use a browser that has a qualified electronic signature certificate installed. More information can be found here. In case you have a qualified certificate for electronic signature on the card or USB stick, it is necessary to have a smart card inserted in the reader or a smart USB stick.

Security Warning: We recommend using a qualified electronic signature certificate that is on a smart card or smart USB key.

2. On the VEP.si website click on “Create an account for free” or go straight to VEP account registration.

3. Select and confirm the qualified electronic signature certificate with which you want to register.

If a qualified certificate on a secure device for electronic signature is being used, the signature component VEP.Signature will be installed on your device during user registration. Click here for installation instructions.

When using Rekono or Halcom One the signature component installation is not needed.

REGISTRATION OF A NATURAL PERSON

1. User data

Fill out the required information and click ‘Save and Continue.’ We recommend that you allow notifications by email and publishing your address in VEP address book.

2. Account data

Provide the VEP secure inbox address that you will use for the secure email business and set your password. 

Note: The password must be at least 6 characters long, contain uppercase and lowercase letters, and at least one number. 

Click ‘Save and Continue.’ In the next step, the VEP user agreement will be prepared.

3. Sign contract 

After reviewing the contract, indicate your agreement to the terms “I agree to the terms of the contract and sign it as such” and sign it by clicking “Sign the contract.” 

After successfully signing the contract, a registered secure electronic inbox will open for you. 

You will receive an electronically signed copy of the contract during the registration process. If the contract was electronically signed by the natural person who owns the inbox you do not need to send a written copy. If you still want your written copy of the contract, send us two printed and signed copies to our address Eius d.o.o., Grudnovo nabrežje 15, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. We will return one copy, signed by us, to you by mail. 

If the registration is not performed with a qualified certificate of the natural person’s representative “The contract will be concluded in writing (I am not a representative / I do not agree with the content of the contract),” save the contract by clicking on the “Download contract” button and then complete the procedure by clicking on the “Submit the application” button. 

To fully activate the secure mailbox post us the physical copy of the contract, signed by the representative, to our office address address Eius d.o.o., Grudnovo nabrežje 15, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. If you can sign the contract electronically, send us a signed copy to our email address pisarna@eius.si. 

The VEP account will be activated when we receive a signed contract from the legal representative.

BUSINESS ENTITY REGISTRATION

  1. User data

Fill out the required information. If the company is registered in Slovenia, the company name should be entered to match the name in the PRS business registry. We recommend that you allow notifications by email and publishing your address in VEP address book. 

When entering entities entered in the business register, a menu will appear where you select your company, other data will be filled in automatically.

We recommend that you enter a notification email address. If you would like to issue eInvoices via the VEP.si portal, it is mandatory to tick “I want to issue eInvoices” and enter the transaction account number or IBAN.
